Stunning Shamanic Rattle with Triquetra, Rutile Quartz, Copal and Oak wood handle, handcrafted by us in our rural workshop. The bowl of this rattle is hand sewn and filled with Rutile Quartz for dream connection and healing and Copal resin for cleansing and connecting. We have painted a Triquetra on one side and a Mandala symbol on the other. The handle is made from a beautiful piece of locally found Oak wood.
Oak carries the energy of kingship and wise rule, personal sovereignty, authority, power, protection, sealing or opening doors, endurance, and invocation of wisdom, fertility, and abundance. Oak brings vitality and long life and Oak magic inspires bravery, presence, leadership skills, prosperity, and strength “Mighty oaks from little acorns grow” goes the quote. 
This tree inspires us to be strong in body, mind and spirit. It is a sacred and revered tree representing endurance, power, protection and authority. 
Oak being a sacred Celtic tree we have also burnt the Ogham symbol of duir on the piece for extra energy and protection.  
The Triquetra is a symbol of the stages of life especially the feminine of maiden, mother and crone and the unity of mind, body and spirit.
We have left the bark on the handle and finished it with a little of protective oil, recycled leather fringe trim, cruelty free naturally moulted feathers and vintage beads. Approx 35cm / 13.5" length.
Shamanic Rattles are the voices of our ancestors and spirits who come to help the healing process. They are vessels for magic and sacred items and carry the energy of rain and water within them. When you use a rattle to clear energy or a space the vibration and sound takes on the energy of water as it flows around and washes over you gently cleansing and refreshing your aura and energy as though standing under a waterfall

We are very mindful to pay our respects to the animals spirit and ask for its blessing as it is reborn as a wonderful sacred object. Our rattles are made using goat hide which brings with it the spirit of this confident and balanced creature.
