Stunning Shamanic Rattle with Triquetra, Myrrh, Moonstone and Poplar wood handle handcrafted by us in our rural workshop. The bowl of this rattle is hand sewn and filled with Moonstone for divine feminine connection and healing and Myrrh resin for cleansing and connecting. We have painted a Triquetra on one side and a Solar Spiral on the other. The handle is made from a beautiful piece of locally found Poplar wood. 
Poplar has a very diverse energy which makes it useful for evocation as well as banishment rituals. It is also strong with the elements of hope, rebirth, and divinations.  
Poplar being a sacred Celtic tree we have also burnt the Poplar Ogham symbol (eadha) onto it for extra energy.  
The Triquetra is symbolic of the forces of nature (earth, fire and water) and the three interlocking circles are symbolic of female fertility. In Latin, triquetra means “three cornered” and this ancient symbol is also often called the Trinity Knot or Celtic Triangle.
We have decorated the handle with a fern spiral and finished it with a little of our homemade lavender, beeswax and olive oil polish for protection, recycled leather fringe trim, cruelty free naturally molted feathers and vintage beads. Approx 34cm / 13.5" length.
Poplar being a sacred Celtic tree we have also burnt the Poplar Ogham (eadha) onto the wand for added protection and energy.
Shamanic Rattles are the voices of our ancestors and spirits who come to help the healing process. They are vessels for magic and sacred items and carry the energy of rain and water within them. When you use a rattle to clear energy or a space the vibration and sound takes on the energy of water as it flows around and washes over you gently cleansing and refreshing your aura and energy as though standing under a waterfall
Shamanic Rattles can be used for healing, clearing, raising vibration and just for the joy their wonderful resonance brings to the soul. 
We are very mindful to pay our respects to the animals spirit and ask for its blessing as it is reborn as a wonderful sacred object. Our rattles are made using goat hide which brings with it the spirit of this confident and balanced creature.
