These lovely pieces are made from sections of locally found wood. They are nice small and tactile slices of wood with their natural edge and a little bark left on. They feature a wonderful Witches Knot symbol burnt into them and they would make a wonderful addition to your altar, meditation space or a gift. Each piece has then been lightly waxed with our own natural beeswax, olive oil and lavender hand-blended wax and given a little polish. Approx size  2cm / 2.5"wide
The Witch’s knot is a common symbol in folk magic. The witch’s knot is a symbolic representation of the knot and weaving magic practiced by witches in the middle ages, and was used as a sympathetic charm against evil and usually scratched over doorways of homes and stables. The symbol can be drawn in one continuous motion making it ideal for intentional rituals. It also represents the four corners, elements and directions.
