These lovely pieces are made from sections of locally found wood. They are nice small and tactile slices of wood with their natural edge and a little bark left on. They feature a wonderful Pagan Sun Wheel symbol burnt into them and they would make a wonderful addition to your altar, meditation space or a gift. Each piece has then been lightly waxed with our own natural beeswax, olive oil and lavender hand-blended wax and given a little polish. Approx size  2cm / 2.5"wide

The Sun Wheel is a recurring motif in pagan symbology, always pointing to continuity and progress. Besides representing the power of the sun and its ability to grant life wherever its rays pass, the circle also speaks to immortality, the cycle of life and the unending nature of both the soul and the universe.

The Sun Wheel is a sign for the demarcation of the solar year into the seasonal points and is associated with fire and masculine energy. Invoke the sun to represent fire in ritual or for associations with the direction South. Celebrate the sun's power at Litha, the midsummer solstice, or its return at Yule.
