This beautiful Ceremonial Smudge Fan has been lovingly created using cruelty free feathers, crystals, charms and gifted wood. Each fan is handcrafted intuitively using a combination of materials that are called together. This particular fan is approx 31cm / 12.5" long and includes a variety of feathers on a Devon Oak wood handle with a Chinese lucky coin charm and citrine crystals with gold metal vintage beads for abundance. We are blessed to be guardians of an ancient sacred wood and the Oak for the handle came from a fallen branch. Oak being a sacred Celtic tree we have also burnt the Ogham symbol of duir onto the piece for extra energy and protection.

Oak carries the energy of kingship and wise rule, personal sovereignty, authority, power, protection, sealing or opening doors, endurance, and invocation of wisdom, fertility, and abundance.  The Druids associated the oak with the Wren. Closely aligned with the elements Earth, Water, and Spirit, the Oak is considered to be the most powerful and the most sacred to the Druids. Wizards consider this the most amplified wood to use in spells that work with time and counter spells. Oak brings vitality and long life and Oak magic inspires bravery, presence, leadership skills, prosperity, and strength “Mighty oaks from little acorns grow” goes the quote

We collect native feathers whenever we find them and also source them from our friend Srdjan who is an ornithologist and spends most of his time in nature and helping with recuse and conservation projects. All the feathers are naturally molted, not plucked from birds reared for food or shot for conservation purposes. Having these beautiful sacred objects knowing in our hearts that no creatures have been harmed is something which is very important to us.

All our handcrafted items are made with our love and intention and a little magic )0(

We also sell a range of sage, incense and holy woods suitable for smudging.
