This beautiful and very unusual altar box is made from a vintage upcycled box that has been given a new magical life! We have decorated it with a Spiral Goddess, Wheel of the Year mandala and eight main Lunar Phases.  We have also written 'round and round the earth is turning' in runic script on the sides of the box.
The Wheel of the Year is the ancient calendar marking the main 8 changing points throughout the year and the sacred celebration days.
The Lunar Cycle and the Goddess represents powerful feminine energy. It signifies wisdom, intuition, birth, death, reincarnation and spiritual connection. 
Inside the box you will find eight hand crafted ritual candles, one for each of the 8 celebrations. They contained in metal cups, so once they have been burnt you fill with your own tealights for future use. Each one sits on its sacred symbol and has been made with colours to represent the season.
The box has then been lightly waxed with our own natural beeswax, olive oil and lavender hand-blended wax and given a little polish. Approx size  29cm /10" x 14cm / 5.5"
